This project came from a discussion Andy Bloxham shared with Wesley Johnson, back in February or March of 2008. Both being redheads, the topic of their hair came up frequently. At that particular moment, they were sharing stories of unique redhead experiences. From these tales of isolation, sunburns, being picked on, and the rest of the endless red stories, the idea of a redheaded army formed. The premise seemed simple enough: build an army of redheads and have them uncontrollably beating up every blonde and brunette in their path. For once, the redheads would overcome.
Sadly, production for it had to wait until October of 2008. After about a month of planning and recruiting, Andy was able to zone off an area of the Louisiana Tech campus and organize a photograph that contained over two dozen redheads in an all-out assault on any other person in the photograph. The title of the photo was Redhead Revolution.
This photograph spawned the idea of creating an entire series based on red angst. Though not officially part of the Redhead Alliance series, this photograph served as the initial launching point for what was to come.
